My Story

Team Boob Shaka Laka is back for the 7th year in a row to walk this 30 mile event for Pledge the Pink 2025 on Fripp Island, SC! Pledge the Pink Foundation is a non-profit charity that directly helps pay for mammograms and medical costs associated with breast cancer treatment for those unable to afford it.

Our Team would like to raise at least $2,000.00 by October 1st, 2025! Any and every donation helps, so we hope you consider helping, even if just a few dollars.

Fun fact, in 2019 we made the Guinness World Records for the largest line of garden flamingos! (link to article here: https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/432249-longest-line-of-garden-flamingos) and this year we’re hoping to do the same! For every $50 we raise, we add a flamingo to the flock!

If you would like to help out in lieu of a monetary donation, our “Pit Crew”, can always use help cheering us on along the race routes, handing us drinks, sunscreen, band-aides, etc., among other things so please reach out to inquire directly and we may still have room for you at our rental house!! We promise you will have a high falutin time with more shenanigans and tomfoolery than ever before! It will also be one of the most rewarding weekends of your life!
