New Kids In The Flock Team Fundraising

It all started with a Flamingo…well, it actually started in 2021 when your girlfriends, Alicia & Charri (survivor!) text you with “so we did a thing” and include a link to the 2022 “Pledge The Pink” 3 day/30 mile walk on Fripp Island, SC…fast forward to 2024 and 7 of the 11 original 2022 New Kids In The Flock (NKITF) plus all 3 of the 2023 Newbies are returning AND we have 4 more Newbies for total of 14 walkers for the 2024 PTP 3 day/30 mile walk to benefit The PTP Foundation (underlying mission: raise money in the fight against breast cancer).

In less than 150 days…14 new and longtime sister/girlfriends for 50+ years from 12 states: California (Julie), Florida (Lynda), Illinois (Kim), Indiana (Maura), Maryland (KarenA), Massachusetts (LynnC & Tracey), New York (Laurie & LynnS), North Carolina (Alicia), Oregon (Michele), Rhode Island (KarenR-survivor!), Vermont (Subha) and Wisconsin (Dawn) are now training for the 2024 PTP charity walk October 18th-20th on Amelia Island, Florida. Not only do we get to raise $ for a cause near and dear to each of us, but to spend quality time with some of the most awesome women in our lives is priceless, and we look forward to next year’s walk as soon as we are saying our goodbyes from the previous year’s walk!

Welcome to the NKITF 2024 Team fundraising page. We’re just getting started, but last year our goal was $10k and we raised $17,819 of the $690k grand total that was dispersed to agencies & organizations the PTP charity board selects for breast cancer screening, treatment and research programs across the country.
