My Story

In 2025, I will again be walking in the Pledge the Pink walk. We will be walking thirty miles over three days.

I lost my mom over 30 years ago when I was just 20. She fought for 7 years and 11 months – all of my teenage years and I missed so much important time. Because of that, I have fought to raise money to help find a cure for cancer for years, and will keep doing it because of the women we’ve lost – the women still fighting and thriving, and the women and men that I hope never hear those words – “you have cancer” – and their children.

Until that happens we need early detection, and mammograms to help save lives. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. This is unacceptable. Think about your group of friends. This walk will fund life-saving screening, treatment, and research.

A donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated. (But think BIG!) :)
