My Story

In May of 2024, I said good-bye to my good friend and teaching colleague, Colette Staab. She was fierce! She gave life everything she had and then some. She never backed down from any fight — whether it was advocacy for Special Education students, union rights for ESPs, or battling breast cancer. She is the reason why after 17 years as a volunteer at breast cancer walks, I finally decided to WALK one myself! I hope I can do 10 miles a day with half as much grace and dignity as Colette exhibited in her final days on this planet. Please support me as I take on this endeavor. $10 for the 10 miles I will walk each day over the weekend is all I ask!
