My Story

I am excited to say I have registered for walk #18! When I began this journey, I truly did NOT know where it would lead. Through these walks, I have made friends with hundreds of survivors – thrivers who continue to fight the beast called breast cancer.

Since they will keep fighting, I will keep walking AND fundraising. In 2025, my team included some special family members and friends. My 18 YO granddaughter, Grace, joined me. Her mom, aunt, other grandma, my sister and I also were there. Additionally, friends from NC, PA and TX joined us. It is pretty special to have them all join me. And I am happy to say our team raised over $24,000. I am so proud to lead this a group of amazing women.
