My Story

As a breast cancer survivor, I know the importance of raising funds to fight this awful disease and to find a cure. After my treatment, I decided to participate in the Avon 39 Walk as a member of the Solo Strutters team. I met so many amazing people and heard their incredible stories. Avon discontinued the walk but many of the Solo Strutters found a new walk – Pledge the Pink – 3 days, 30 miles. Pledge the Pink has raised over $4 million since it started in 2011. We raised over $1 million in 2025 and our goal is to raise $1.25 million this year. Please help us to continue the fight against breast cancer by making a donation. Any donation helps, even $5 or $10. Last year I raised over $2,200 and hope to raise even more for the 2026 walk. Thank you in advance for anything you can donate!
