My Story

Here I go again!

This journey started in 2005… and it is a fight I will continue as long as I can walk. Why am I doing this?

I walk with a list of names on my back… those “In Memory Of” and “In Support and Celebration of the Fighters”.

This year I am dedicating my walk to two very special people. Brenda Gothrow Wicket, my cousin, who lost her battle in April. The second person is my dear friend, Beverly Sheridan. Beverly is a true fighter, and I have faith she will win this battle!

I walk because I believe I can make a difference. I believe that together we can save lives. Just because Covid-19 shut down our fundraising walks last year, Covid-19 did not shut down Cancer.

Now more than ever we need to reach out to those in need.
